Too much frenugreek can cause your blood sugar to dip (hypoglycemia) and it should never been combined with diabetes medication. If you have an allergy to peanuts or soybeans you will probably be allergic to fenugreek.

Fennel seed has historically been used to boost breast milk production. Some claim that it enhances one's libido and also increases the menstrual flow, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Neither fenugreek nor fennel seed has proved conclusively to be a breast enhancing agent.
