A breast lift also know as mastopexy is a procedure chosen by some women who want to change the shape and lift their sagging breasts. Plastic surgery breast lifts attempt to recreate the younger appearance of the breasts most women experience in their earlier years. Although breast lift are mostly under taken by slightly older women it is not uncommon for younger women to want a breast lift to not only lift the breast but also reshape the breast for a more desirable sitting position on the chest. A breast lift primarily adust thee height of the nipple areola area as well as modelation of the mammary glands.
The total level of sag in the breast position will determine the need to adjust the mammary gland. If the sagging is not excessive then the primary objective of the procedure is just the upward lift of the nipple area.
Is is important to note that any breast lift surgery is not permanent. The effects of gravity and time can not be completely eliminated, however the procedure often helps with the patients self esteem, which is normally the typical motivation to have a breast lift.
If a patient has previously undergone breast enlargement surgery with the use of a silicon implant or any implant a breast lift is required if the patient wishes to remove the implants.
Any kind of corrective breast lift or breast augmentation can result in a reduction of size of the areola. The size of the areola is relative to the size of the breast. However a smaller areola is often desired by many patients.

How Young is Too Young for Breast Implants?
Posted by: admin
January 21st, 2010 >> Herbal Breast Enhancement
It’s almost impossible to turn on the television today without seeing perfect, surgically enhanced bodies showcased in clingy styles that show those bodies off to their best advantage. It is easy to see how a young girl with a perfectly normal figure could feel as if she is somehow abnormal for not having enormous breasts. In a world where girls sometimes get breast implants as a high school graduation present, there should be people asking the question, “How young is too young to have this surgery?”
Part of the answer is based on physical reality. A girl should not have breast implants until she has finished developing physically. Typically that happens by age 17 or 18, though it can happen at younger ages. But changes such as weight gain or loss will often cause a girl’s figure to continue to change as she leaves her teens and enters her twenties. Like any major life decision such as where to go to college, when or whether to marry, or when to have a child, choosing to have breast implants is a matter of maturity rather than strictly chronological age.
Whether a girl is emotionally mature enough to make that decision can sometimes be determined by talking to her about her reasoning for wanting a larger bust. Does she feel insecure about her boyfriend ogling other girls? Does she think that getting implants will help her get a steady boyfriend? Does she know the difference between getting attention for her appearance and being appreciated for who she is? It is fairly common for young women to believe that breast enlargement will change other areas of their life, such as self-esteem. Sadly, there are cosmetic surgeons that prey on those fears.
It is largely up to parents to help young women think through their beliefs and feelings about breast implant surgery. If your daughter starts raising the idea of having plastic surgery, it is important to listen to her. Don’t brush off her feelings, tell her she’s being ridiculous, or make light of the situation. Hear her out and help her figure out what her motives are for wanting plastic surgery. Offer your own insights into the subject. If you yourself have had breast implants, be prepared to talk to your daughter about the reality versus what you imagined it would be like before you had surgery.
In the year 2004, over 300,000 young people under age 18 had cosmetic surgery, versus nearly 9 million adults. Nearly 3,700 of those operations on under-18s were breast augmentation surgeries, according to statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. There are cosmetic surgeons – a lot of them, actually – who won’t perform breast augmentation on those under 18, on the reasoning that the body and the self-image continue to develop after that age, if on a lesser scale.
The perceived need for cosmetic surgery has to be evaluated case by case due to the range in ages for physical and emotional maturation. Any cosmetic surgeon worth choosing will begin by finding out why a teenager wants the surgery. Wanting to look like a celebrity or addressing a deeply rooted psychological issue are very good reasons why a surgeon should not agree to perform cosmetic procedures like breast enlargement on teens under 18.

Smartlipo is a minimally invasive procedure in which excessive body fat is melted away using from the body using laser technology which has been approved by the FDA.
Nowadays, Smartlipo is considered by many plastic surgeons to be the ideal way for getting rid of undesirable love handles as the procedure has considerably lower complication rates. The treatment usually requires only local anesthesia and generally takes between 1-3 hours to perform depending on the size as well as the number of body regions to be treated by Smart Lipo. Smart Lipo is continuing to grow in popularity within Harley Street as many people are reporting the ability to return to work the day after having the procedure.
Smartlipo works by Making a very small incision from one or two millimetres which will fade away completely after treatment, and inserting an Abre-optic probe under the skin through a cannula. Introducing pulsed laser energy to liquefy fat cells, which is then removed from the body naturally and by aspiration, the laser energy also coagulates the tissue, thereby sculpting body contours and tightening the skin. The procedure generally causes less bleeding, swelling and bruising than traditional liposuction, resulting in fewer complications and faster recovery for patients with greater sculpting control for the surgeon. Patients have much less downtime than with traditional liposuction and typically avoid the compression garments and uncomfortable drainage tubes.
Smartlipo has been available in Italy, Japan, Germany and Brazil since year 2000 and in the UK since year 2006. Smart Lipo has been approved by the Medicines and Health care products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)-UK June 2006 and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-USA December 2006.
This endorsement recognizes the excellent safety and aesthetic profile of Smart Lipo.
Smart Lipo Laser Liposuction is an innovative and major advancement in the field of body contouring, body sculpting and liposuction
• Offers the best body-contouring results.
• Permanently zaps away fat.
• Affords you smoother results.
• Tightens loose skin, cellulite, and stretch marks.
• Uses laser light technology, only local anaesthesia is required and a faster recovery period is enjoyed.
• Can be performed on the face, neck, arms, back, abdomen, hips, thighs and knees.
Plastic surgeons feel that the safety of the Smart Lipo procedure arises from the fact that it makes use of laser technology which can be operated with a high degree of accuracy. In addition to the smartlipo procedure, Plastic Surgeons have all noticed that with smartlipo there is very little bruising.

Do You Know Which Breast Implant Is The Best Choice For You?

Breast augmentation is one of the most popular surgical procedures on the planet. Worldwide, women want bigger, more beautiful breasts. Older women battle age and gravity, chasing after the perky, firmer breasts of their youth. Younger women seek sex appeal, and often the perfection and symmetry nature didn’t award them. If you are considering breast augmentation surgery, you have three different types of implants to choose from.
Saline implants are the most used in breast implant history. The FDA banned silicone gel implants in 1992 after women suffered serious health problems, leaving only saline implants.
Saline implants have been considered the safest because they are filled with a saltwater solution. If an implant should leak or rupture, the saline will be absorbed by the body and passed out through the urine. This implant allows the surgeon to make a smaller incision (less scarring) because the saline is added after the implant is already in the body. However, a saline implant has the reputation of not feeling or moving like a real breast.
A silicone gel implant better mimics the movement of a real breast because it is filled with the soft gel. The FDA banned them for 14 years, during which clinical trials studied and analyzed them for health risks resulting from silicone leakages. In 2006, the FDA finally approved them for unrestricted use. But are they really safe?
There is still one major disadvantage of the silicone gel implants: it is extremely difficult to detect a rupture or leak. Even your surgeon can’t be positive without utilizing an MRI. That is why the FDA recommends women with implants have an MRI every two years. MRIs are expensive and not covered by health insurance, so they should be factored into the total cost of the breast implants.
A major advantage of silicone gel implants is that the FDA has studied and analyzed them more than any other medical device in American history. Nowadays, some consider them even safer than saline implants.
You may not even have heard about the cohesive gel implant – also called the gummy bear implant. This implant is a solid gel mass with an overall gummy texture. There is no liquid inside it. It won’t leak even if it’s cut in half! You will simply have an implant cut into two pieces. A major drawback to this implant is that because it is a solid mass, the surgeon has to make a larger incision (meaning a larger scar) to insert the bigger implant into the breast.
The biggest disadvantage of the cohesive gel implant is that the FDA has not approved them for use in America. The rest of the world has used them for almost 20 years, but the FDA feels they need more study. If you are seriously interested in having the cohesive gel implants, you will need to locate a plastic surgeon the FDA has approved for its clinical trials.
If you are interested in learning more about breast augmentation surgery and the pros and cons of the different implants, consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. He will know the latest technological advances, and is the best qualified to provide you with realistic expectations.

What is Brachioplasty and is it Right for Me?
Posted by: admin
January 13th, 2010 >> Herbal Breast Enhancement
Brachioplasty is, in layman’s terms, an arm lift or arm tuck. With age, excessive tanning or extreme weight loss, arm skin loses its elasticity, and therefore, its ability to shrink back to normal size, resulting in empty, loose, unattractive skin hanging from the upper arms.
Loose skin on the upper arms is unnecessary, though natural after weight loss and is also a natural part of aging. While the benefits of beating obesity are undeniable, there are consequences. Skin loses its elasticity, never to be regained again. Sagging skin results in difficulty finding properly fitting clothing, not to mention embarrassment and self consciousness when wearing sleeveless tops or swimwear. Skin rashes and irritation can also lead to repeated, painful infections on the arms, especially in hot weather. The only way to get rid of the excess skin is through a cosmetic surgery called brachioplasty.
The average candidate for surgery has undergone stomach stapling and may or may not get an arm lift as part of a post bariatric lift procedure. Some patients elect to have only an arm lift done. If you have lost extreme amounts of weight and want to beat the last of your self consciousness left over from obesity, an arm lift may be right for you.
There are risks associated with this type of surgery. As with any surgery, there is a risk of having a reaction to anesthesia. Those who have Hidradenitis Supperativa, also know as chronic infections of the sweat glands in the armpits, should wait until their infection is cured before going though with the procedure. Women whom have had a radical mastectomy are sometimes advised not to have this surgery done, as it can lead to chronic, painful swelling in the arms.
The most important consideration of a brachioplasty is who will do your surgery. Make sure to find a specialist in the field of cosmetic surgery. As is well known, most of the best surgeons in the United States are on the west coast. Begin researching cosmetic surgeons Los Angeles to find the best surgeon to fit your needs. Is there Anything Cosmetic Surgery Can’t Fix?
Posted by: admin
January 6th, 2010 >> Herbal Breast Enhancement
If you’ve spent any time in front of a television in the past few years you’ve no doubt seen shows like Extreme Makeover and wondered if there was anything cosmetic surgery couldn’t fix. The answer is, “Of course.” Cosmetic surgery can’t fix low self-esteem even if it does provide a temporary psychological boost. Cosmetic surgery can’t fix a broken marriage, and it can’t fix a person’s desire for attention from one special person, whether that person is a significant other, spouse, or parent. And cosmetic surgery can’t even fix a person’s desire to have the perfect face and/or body. Cosmetic surgery addicts are a testament to that fact.
Cosmetic surgery can’t fix the aging process. It can help a person reset their clock by a few years, but aging will take place on altered as well as unaltered faces and bodies. While some procedures are less noticeable than others, any surgical procedure will leave scars, sometimes invisibly, and sometimes visibly. Cosmetic surgery can’t take 40-year-old skin and make it look exactly like 20-year-old skin. Cosmetic surgeons use scalpels, not magic wands. It can’t fix a gnawing desire to always look younger. That fixation can outlast numerous surgical procedures, head to toe.
There is a lot that cosmetic surgery can do. It can repair damage from accidents and cancer surgery. It can fix back pain caused by years of carrying around breasts that are too heavy for a woman’s frame. It can mostly restore a breast that was lost to cancer. It can suction fat from thighs and hips, resulting in inches lost that wouldn’t budge otherwise. It can tighten abdominal skin and muscles that have been stretched by weight gain or pregnancy, and it can remove excess skin from those who have lost massive amounts of weight.
Cosmetic surgery can’t make you happy enough that you’ll like your boring, un-fulfilling job. It can’t make up for your choosing the wrong person to marry. It can’t make your teenage children be nice to you if they’re not inclined to. It can’t fix grief, depression, or addiction.
Many people in today’s world think that any “problem” that can be addressed by throwing money at it goes from being a “problem” to being merely an “expense.” It is extremely easy to get into this mindset, particularly for people who spend a lot of time watching television, seeing plastic surgery programs and makeover programs, and noticing how happy the participants are with their new nose, or teeth, or breasts, or thighs. Young adults may make fun of the “vain” people who treat themselves to liposuction or a nose job, but many of them end up getting plastic surgery themselves anyway.
It is extremely easy to lose sight of what a real human body looks like after years of being presented with perfectly proportioned bodies that look great in clothes and attract just the right amount of attention from admirers. It’s all too easy to forget that bodies come in many shapes, and the shape that is hot this year might well be passé next year. And cosmetic surgery can’t change that. It can only adapt to changing consumer demand.

Breast Lift Surgery Or Breast Lift Devices – Which Is Best For You?
Posted by: admin
January 2nd, 2010 >> Herbal Breast Enhancement
All women, at some point in their lives, have to face the significant toll that age and gravity take on the youthful appearance of their breasts. Weight loss or gain, or even breastfeeding, doesn’t help the problem. When a woman becomes self-conscious of her sagging and drooping breasts, she is often too embarrassed to undress in front of another person.
Today’s market has many items that will help a woman look better temporarily – at least while wearing clothes. Underwire and padded bras, and even breast forms, will increase her cleavage and lift her breasts. Unfortunately, embarrassment can still be a factor if she has to take her clothes off. These products just can’t provide the same results that a plastic surgeon can with a surgical procedure called a breast lift.
A breast lift will remove the loose skin and unwanted fat from saggy, drooping breasts. The tightened tissue will then lift the breasts, presenting a youthful, perky vitality. This truly fantastic procedure can provide a woman with a renewed self-confidence in her appearance, allowing her to not shy away from taking off her clothes in front of others.
A combination of surgical procedures can give an even greater boost in rejuvenating the appearance of a woman’s breasts – a breast lift and a breast augmentation. Besides eliminating sag and droop, the surgeon can augment the size and shape of the breasts with implants.
At this time in the United States, saline and silicone gel implants are all that are available on the market for unrestricted use. There is another type of implant – made of a cohesive gel – but the FDA has not yet approved their use, and it will be many years before they do so. However, one can get them now by participating in a FDA clinical trial.
If you decide to undergo a breast lift, your surgeon will advise you which type of incision he can make. The three most popular are the Benelli (also called the concentric), the Benelli lollipop, and the crescent.
The Benelli (concentric) cut circles the bottom of the areola and nipple. The surgeon removes excess skin and draws tight the breast tissue, gathering it together underneath the areola. By cutting close to the areola, the scar is not as visible.
The Benelli lollipop is a vertical cut usually used if there is more sag and excess tissue below the areola. This scar is more visible because it extends from the base of the areola down to the fold or crease on the underside of the breast.
Just as its name implies, the crescent incision is cut from left to right in the crescent-shaped fold of skin beneath the breast. This is the most invasive incision, most often used when there is a lot of sagging tissue.

revirgination is need of all women sometimes in life
Posted by: admin
December 31st, 2009 >> Herbal Breast Enhancement
Revirgination surgery is usually confused with hymenoplasty. Many people raise objection to it.However, revirgination and hymenoplasty are not same.Hymenoplasty surgery may be controversial , but not revirgination surgery. It is need of hour.
Revirgination surgery does three things -restoration of hymen,Restoration the tightness of vagina and creation or tightening the loose sphincter of vagina.
With every act of sexual intercourse the vaginal sphincter gets loose ,the vagina becomes loose and labia minora are flared, along with loss of hymen. As the grip of vagina over thepenis is lost , so is the sexual pleasure to both of the partners.By tightening the vagina and vaginal sphincter the tightness and the grip of the vagina over the penis is restored.
In many elderly females along with this , some tissue are to be added like fat graft etc. for restoring the lost tissue volume.
So , I would say that revirgination surgery is not a myth , but a reality and is rightly demanded by many married females.
For creation of surgery of revirgination first incision is made in the vaginal rim , and a flap is created of vaginal mucosa.Through this the underlying soft tissue is repaired. The flap is folded upon itself and stitched to the rim incision. This double folded flap is stitched to the other two rim incisions made over the vaginal rim laterally.
Then a vestibular incision is made and muscles are identified. These muscles are the superficial muscles of perineum. These musles are reefed to tighten the vaginal sphincter .
Many a times the request comes for creation of superfemale. In this operation another vaginal sphincter is added to vaginal opening so that there is immense pressure over he penis while insertion ,resulting in better erection of penis and more sexual pleasure

Breast One Bigger Than The Other
Even although breast asymmetry is a common issue among women, for those who are really uncomfortable among the difference, cosmetic surgery may offer a satisfying solution. Some women live in embarrassment about their breasts. While many are uncomfortable with the size of their breasts whether they are too big or small and many others worry about an uneven chest, or breast asymmetry.Breast One Bigger Than The Other
This is when one breast is larger than the other one or one is of a different shape than the other. The effect in either case is an unbalanced look, often resulting in embarrassment and lowered self-esteem for the individual. The truth is however, that bust asymmetry is extremely common.
Indeed, some say that no woman has perfectly symmetrical and even breasts. Having differently shaped or sized breasts is not a frequent topic of discussion and many women suffer from this common condition without realizing that it is quite normal and natural. The reasons for bust asymmetry may include several possibilities. First genetics seem to play a large role. A women’s DNA may simply tell one breast to grow larger or differently than the other.
The final outcome is usually determined about six years after a girl starts menstruating. Estrogen is the hormone that causes the bust to grow, so if there was any rare estrogen-interrupting occurrence, the bust may also turn out to be uneven. Breast One Bigger Than The Other
Other times that a woman may experience bust asymmetry include during pregnancy, breast-feeding, menopause, in association with bust cancer and related treatments. The first two involve significant changes in the amount of estrogen in the body and the last one can cause asymmetry when lumps grow in one or both breasts, or if one or both must be removed by surgery.
While most bust asymmetries are small and no cause for concern. Some doctors estimate that the size difference for most is less than one bra size cup. Yet in some cases the difference may be greater. When that occurs, the asymmetry may be noticeable enough to warrant the use of bust enlargement or bust reduction surgeries. If any new dramatic imbalances are discovered though, the first step should definitely be to visit a doctor.Breast One Bigger Than The Other

Is Your Plastic Surgeon Board Certified
Posted by: admin
December 24th, 2009 >> Herbal Breast Enhancement
The decision to have plastic surgery can have far reaching medical and emotional ramifications. The most important caveat to this, therefore is consulting a plastic surgeon that is best suited for your needs.
Since it is not prudent to pick a surgeon by trial and error, the only logical recourse is to check your surgeon’s credentials and qualifications. Also, your comfort level with the surgeon during a consultation is of paramount importance.
So how do you know if your plastic surgeon is certified?
All State Medical Boards have a registry of doctors, and also provide information about board certification, education and license verification. This database is available to you on demand, and is a veritable treasure trove of information that you need in order to arrive at a decision.
When you set out to check if your surgeon is certified, it is also imperative that the bonafide of the accreditation agency be ascertained: a nationally or state-recognized accrediting agency, or a state licensed or Medicare certified agency, all of these usually have very stringent criteria, thus ensuring both, optimal results as well as your safety.
The most important accreditation for a plastic/ reconstructive surgeon in the USA is the certification of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). ASPS Member Surgeons are certified by ASPS as well as the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The ASPS has very stringent membership criteria: it is only open to those doctors who have had more than six years of surgical training and experience, at least three of which must be in plastic surgery. Also, these doctors have to fulfill continuing medical education requirements, which means they have to keep abreast with the latest developments in terms of new surgical procedures, as well as safety precautions.
The American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASPRS) are other significant accreditation agencies. Information regarding their members is available feely. The ABPS can be contacted at http://www.abms.org or at the phone numbers provided at the official website. The Official ABMS Directory of Board Certified Medical Specialists also carries all the necessary information. The ASPRS provides information regarding the credentials of its members as well. The American Medical Association (AMA) also provides biographical information about its members and publishes the American Medical Directory which lists their affiliations and details.
Checking if your doctor has operating privileges in an accredited hospital for the procedure that you will be undergoing is always a good idea. This is because hospital review committees evaluate a surgeon’s competency for specific procedures very thoroughly before granting them operating privileges in their premises. Also, accredited hospital based facilities are known to have a better safety profile than ambulatory surgical procedures.
A little research in terms of checking the credentials of your surgeon and his area of expertise can help you achieve the body you’ve always wanted, and the easiest way to ensure this is to make sure that your plastic surgeon is certified.
